Diggers Home established in the early fifties, is the newest wine estate in the Valley of Abundance.  Situated on the foothills of the Obiqua Mountains they are already an award winning winery with their wines winning Veritas Awards of silver & bronze in their first vintage of 2018 and 2019.The well established vines were planted in 1990 and 2000 by the previous owner but the grapes were mostly sold to other wineries.  They produce full bodied red wine in the Marlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and a delightful Chardonnay.2020 will see the launch of a fruity Rose and a robust Red Blend to compliment their already succesful range.The Tapas Restaurant and tasting room was a huge success with locals and tourists alike, with gorgeous views out over the dams and vineyards.
